Is HalaChat a school management system?
No. HalaChat is your school community's communication app. It works alongside your student information, learning and finance systems rather than replacing them.
We're an education company with several schools. Can we activate all of them?
Yes. Each school or branch is set up as its own verified community, with its own identity, groups, staff and data kept separate. The same administrator can be authorised for several schools and move between them with one account. Talk to us about your group, and we'll confirm how your schools are set up and billed before you subscribe.
Do we need a technical team to set it up?
No. A guided setup and a smart import walk your administration through classes, staff, students and families, and flag errors before anything is saved.
Can our school use its own logo and colour?
Yes. Your school's name, logo and colour appear on your community inside the HalaChat app, so families recognise you instantly — without a separate app to build or maintain.
What does "unlimited" include?
Normal communication inside HalaChat has no message limit, under a clear fair-use policy. External channels such as SMS invitations, and AI usage, follow the limits set out in the plan terms.
How do we pay, and who sees the invoices?
By bank transfer against a VAT-inclusive invoice; the subscription is activated once the transfer is confirmed. Invoices are separate from tuition and student fees, and only your authorised staff can see them.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a free trial of the full, real product. The trial terms are published before registration opens.
Can we reach families who haven't joined yet?
Yes. Families who haven't activated receive a safe invitation that never includes sensitive details about a child, and you can see who still needs one.
Which languages and devices are supported?
Arabic and English from day one, with right-to-left and left-to-right layouts, plus translation for messages. Families and teachers use the app on iOS and Android, and your administration works on the web.
Do young children need their own accounts?
